            Bug ID: 190481
Summary: generate-release fails for release 10.0.0
           Product: Base System
           Version: 10.0-RELEASE
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: Needs Triage
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: misc
          Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: kevspam2@fastmail.fm

Attempting to generate the 10.0 release fails.
The specific message I get is missing /var/run/ld-elf.so.hints when registering
pkg-1.2.7_2.

Environment:
FreeBSD fbsd 10.0-RELEASE FreeBSD 10.0-RELEASE #0 r260789: Thu Jan 16 22:34:59
UTC 2014 root@snap.freebsd.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64

How-To-Repeat:
Build steps:

Make VM in Oracle VM Virtual box, 8 megs ram, 20 gigs hd space.
Insert FreeBSD 10 release dvd as ISO.
Install BSD using guided install, accept the defaults, install doc & src.
poweroff
take ISO out of virtual drive.
start virtal machine back up
Edit /etc/hosts add machine name to end of 127.0.0.1 to get rid of annoying
email pause problem
pkg install subversion
(say yes to prompt & install)

mkdir /usr/local/fbsd10
cd /usr/src/release
sh ./generate-release.sh release/10.0.0 /usr/local/fbsd10
