i just had a quick look before going to bed. yes, i like it, very nice.
but i am not sure whether it really makes sense to have a distinction between
future and past events. if we do have such a distinction, then there
should be an anchor to get "quick" access, so there is no need to scroll
through the page when you want to find the upcoming event.
this needs regular updating just for having the past and
future events distinction up to date and without the anchors it is just
a lot of work without real benefit.

i found a typo, shouldn't the first line be like that:
If you know of any FreeBSD related events - or events that are of
interest for FreeBSD users which are not listed here
