Odhiambo, Applixware does install on FreeBSD. I purchased the FreeBSD port of it (v4.4.2) from http://www.freebsdmall.com for a mere $100 and they sent me the CD I needed to make everything golden. If you feel the need to use bloated code, Star Office is an option too. It's in the ports collection, and is obtainable for a much smaller fee: $0.00. I run it on Solaris, but still prefer Applixware for my Word/Excel compatibility. Everyone has their own opinion. This is just my two cents... -Otter -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Odhiambo Washington Sent: Friday, August 18, 2000 2:34 PM To: FreeBSD-Questions Subject: Help with MICROSOFT Anyone knows if Applixware/StarOffice will compile in FBSD???
