Hiya Sam,

Have you checked your IDE cables recently? When you start your machine 
are any of the drive lights red? ( Floopy, CDROM, hard disk ) .. perhaps 
your bus is confused. Also, do you have master/slave set correctly on 
your hard-drive CDROM ...
