I read the handbook section on sound and followed every step. more /var/log/messages | grep pcm -> Jan 8 18:39:38 toaster /kernel: pcm0: <Yamaha OPL-SAx> at port 0x220-0x22f,0x530-0x537,0x388-0x38b,0x330-0x331,0x370-0x371 irq 5 drq 0,1 on isa0 Its FreeBSD 4.7-STABLE w/ a kde desktop.
