Kudos to all the *BSD crews. They are all doing a fine job, even if some edges are a little rough, now and then. My agenda is only to see if there is something going in the FBSD playpen, since my heart kindof lies with that branch of the family tree, historically. If there is, then I am interested in following it along, spinning some code if I am sufficiently qualified to do so, and hopefully making it work. In my case, I run whatever I can get up and going on a particular machine. (AIX 1/2, 4.3/4.4BSD, 386BSD, FBSD, NBSD, OBSD, SunOS, Solaris, Xenix, Linux, etc). Obviously, I tend to prefer the *BSD side of the family. The branch of the *BSD tree really does not make all that much diff3. All it has to do is work, in my book, and that is fine. Mostly they do, but some edges are still a tad rough. Anyway.... what actually does exist in the way of FBSD sparc related code, and, will it begin to come up and overlay on a SunOS system (or one of our brethren *BSD systems) for starters? My sparc hardware is rather dinosaurian (4/110, 4/260, SS1, IPX), but, hey, it is worth crashing a time or two, for the fun of it. So, what we got to work with?
