Can I power off a Dell Inspiron 5000 laptop with shutdown -p now? I have added apm_enable="YES" in /etc/rc.conf and "device apm0" is already in GENERIC file. I also run ./MAKEDEV apm under /dev. But When I run "apm", it says "device not configured". I am using 4.2-Release.
