I'm trying to run 6.0 at specified laptop model but get in the fact both installation cds (e.g. GENERIC kernels) of 5.1 and 6.0 BETA5 pagefaults after ohci0 identification: ochi0: <SiS 5571 USB controller> mem 0xf4002000-0xf4002fff at device 3.0 on pci0 Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode fault virtual address = 0xe6ab2 fault code = supervisor read, page not present instruction pointer = 0x20:0xc00e89a5 stack pointer = 0x28:0xc10209e4 frame pointer = 0x28:0xc10209e4 code segment = base 0x0 , limit 0xfffff, type 0x1b = DPL 0, pres 1, def32 1, gran 1 processor eflags = interrupt enabled, resume, IOPL = 0 current process = 0 (swapper) trap number = 12 panic: page fault Uptime: 1s I'm looking for someone had successfuly run FreeBSD in it to share his/her experience with me. The 2nd problme is BIOS is of limited functionality - there's no way to change anything there except for boot order & CMOS date.
