All the accounts from the system including the root password were deleted and the 'htpasswd' passwords were missing as well. I retried the same type of update on freeBSD 4.5 current-release i386 and it was the same issue. Not sure if you call this a bug, but maybe at least a warning to the server admin that this may happen before updating the binary compatibility distributions. >How-To-Repeat: Build a server using the freeBSD operating system. Configure accounts as well as set the root password. Install a few programs (Apache, mySQL, GLIB, etc...).
