https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D243277 Bug ID: 243277 Summary: net/samba48: revert r520188 expiry due to unusable net/samba410 Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: timur@FreeBSD.org Reporter: prj@rootwyrm.com Assignee: timur@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(timur@FreeBSD.org) To be absolutely clear, net/samba410 is an absolute mess and still not fit = for purpose. It cannot provision new domains, it frequently cannot join existing domains, it just does not work. This has been known for a very long time as well and not enough progress has been made.=20 Despite upstream discontinuing, forcing users onto net/samba410 is currently worse than having net/samba48 available. https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D239105 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D240127 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D241201 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D242395 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D242681 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D240827 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D242478 --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
