Dear FreeBSD Developer. I have installed the FreeBSD from CDROM, and I cannot configure the network connection. I am trying to use 3Com network card (ep0), which I successfully do while running the Windows NT on the same box from the different partition. On the FreeBsd, however, when I use "ifconfig" - it freezes up immediately, when I edit rc.conf or use /stand/sysinstall and reboot it gets to the point of "Doing Initial Network Setup: hostname." and also freezes (meaning no reaction on any further keystrokes exept for reset button on the processor) Reguards, Yefrem Podolskyy To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
