Hiya all, How do I quickly and easily rename part of many files to lower case. The issue is that users ftp html content from a Windoze box and I have things like: index.HTM, homepage.HTM, 123.HTM, banner.JPG etc. The reference to the files is all completely lower case so I need them as index.htm, homepage.htm, 123.htm, banner.jpg. I tried: mv *HTM to *htm but it didn't work. Any suggestions?..... Thanks all..... To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
