Sure. I think that all you need is the following:

src/sys/kern/subr_disk.c
revision 1.20.2.1
date: 2000/07/11 06:02:49; author: imp; state: Exp; lines: +29 -25
MFC: 1.29 fixes the disk going away and then coming back problem

See the 1.29 log message for the gorry details. These changes are
very clean, at least wrt interdependence on other things. The bug was
a fun one to find. I got Timing Solutions to invest about a week of
my time (less interruptions) to find and kill this problem. It had
bit me and others at Timing Solutions enough to make this cost
effective. We use CF a lot around here and this bug was a show
stopper for us to install pccard readers on all the desktops so that
anybody can create their own CF for whatever project they are working
on.... I'm still a little burned out from fighting it, and it was
about a month ago!

BTW, a big thanks to phk for reviewing the bug, telling me I was nuts
a few times in the right way and porting it to -current before I got
to it.
