Hello @ FreeBSD I have a long week behind me, because I had try to get Xorg or XFree86 on= =20my Sony Vaio C1VE running. (Specs are here : http://reviews.zdnet.co.uk/hardware/notebooks/0,39023984,10000247,00.htm = ) The bad thing on this Laptop is the Screen Resolution of 1024x480. ATI Driver is running with 1024x480 but only with 8 Bit Colour. VESA Driver is running with 640x480 with 16 or 24 Bit Colour. I see also many other people in the WWW with the same problem.=20 With older Releases of FreeBSD or XFree86 it was no problem on this Lapto= p. I have try so many things that I really not know where to search also or = where to get help... Do you have any idea what I could do to get more then 8 Bit Colour with 1= 024x480 ?
