In /usr/X11R6/.  If you're using the ports, I know that the libs will be
found there.  I'm sure they might get found in /usr/local/X11R6/, but I
prefer to keep all the X stuff in /usr/X11R6/ and reserve /usr/local/ for
non-X related additional apps.
