Hi, I tried 'camcontrol rescan' and I found it works when I add a SCSI device while the system is on. I find it useful for adding/removing devices w/o restarting the box. (Maybe it's risky, but useful. I supposed that's the idea of the 'rescan' command in camcontrol) Is there a way to do the same with the new 'ata' code. (I know IDE isn't SCSI anyway). Or maybe i'm walking on a wrong way? --iani To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hackers" in the body of the message
