The introduction of a newer version of libxml2 broke this part of 
KDE. This has by your own admission been mentioned many times before 
and a fix has been supplied. If you like, search through the archives 
and find this fix. Or you could wait a little while and get KDE 2.2.2 
which I hear will be introduced soon. (As in today or tomorrow).
