Oh, and regarding the suggestion to use partition letter 'a' ... isn't 'a' historically used as root? 'b' is swap, 'c' is the whole disk ... And 'd' through 'f' are available? I can't find any more-specific mentions of this, though ... so I might have gotten the wrong idea from somewhere.
