Yes.

That's the one I describe in http://www.lemis.com/serial-port-patch.html.
This will solve your problem.  Nevertheless, I recommend that you
upgrade to 2.2-STABLE or (when they come out) 3.0-RELEASE or
2.2.8-RELEASE.
