On that topic -- back when the search engine actually (mostly) worked,
the "sort by date" option was misleading.  If you took "sort by date"
and "25 results", it would sort the 25 highest-scoring results of all
time and sort those by date.  So the only way to get near-useful
results was to ask for 250 or more matches sorted by date.  It would
be nice if you could get the 25 (or n) most recent results containing
the desired keywords, regardless of what the engine judges to be
relevant.
