I am having major problems getting host-only or any vmnet networking
running on the vmware 2.0 port for freebsd. In order to load the vmnet
device I have run the /usr/local/etc/rc.d/vmware.sh manually and I get the
following output.

kldload: can't load /usr/local/lib/vmware/lib/modules/vmmon_up.ko: File
exists
kldload: can't load if_tap.ko: No such file or directory
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/vmware.sh: cannot create /compat/linux/dev/vmnet1: no
such device or address

thanks...
