First observation: why are you running CURRENT?

Thank you, but `we' [allow me to use we in this as meaning the whole of
the project] are also prone to make mistakes and that should always be
considered a possibility.

Second observation: why are you running kppp? Userland ppp is much more
maintained, stable and way better.

I am in no way authorative, nor is it, given your lack of proper
background information, possible to determine what may be the exact
cause.

Ask yourself this:

- Are you programmer enough or wellversed in FreeBSD to actually have a
  valid reason to run CURRENT?

- What made you use pppd and not ppp?

- How will I get good answers from this forum if I do not provide enough
  information?
