I have a freebsd server running Samba. it has
successfully joined a NT-4 domain. i didn't configure
it to join, it just *did*. so i'm assuming one or
more of the default settings allow this. how/what can
i change so that this doesn't happen?

smb.conf is the conf file for samba, the samba file
is the output of running "testparm" on that conf file.

all i need to know is, is there a setting i can add
to the conf file so that the smbd and nmbd deamons do
not, and will not try to join a domain? if there is
not some simple setting i can add to the conf files,
what can i do? thanks

please cc me any replies

nathan
