Hi all , pls hepl me to fix this issue=20 =20 =20 I followed this DOC =20 =20 http://www.purplehat.org/?page_id=3D8=20 =20 =20 Here while I am testing postfix setup at this point=20 =20 telnet localhost 25 : the OutPut obtained as described as in the tuto= rial in the above link (This test SUCCESSFULL) =20 BUT for telnet loclhost 465 I cant get the o/p as in tutorial=20 =20 =20 Here what I am able to get for telnet localhost 465 =20 =20 =20 telnet localhost 465 Trying ::1... telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost.sun.iosn.net. Escape character is '^]'. =20 //// upto this line oly I am getting out put not showing the line 22= 0 host.domain.tld ESMTP Postfix =20 Q1 : when I tested with the EHLO test.com command telnet connection clo= sed immediately why this ? =20 this is the o/p : telnet localhost 465 Trying ::1... telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost.sun.iosn.net. Escape character is '^]'. EHLO test.com Connection closed by foreign host. =20 =20 I tried to use TELNET machine ip 465 from another machine : then I checke= d the maillog this is the O/P this is the o/p : telnet mydomain.tld 465 Trying 63.19.25.1... Connected to mydomain.net (63.19.25.1). Escape character is '^]'.
