I guess all the old-timers don't read docs commits anymore.  Ah, the days
when one could keep up reading all the commit messages.

It *totally amazes* me that the old-timers didn't know the absolute
answer to this since we've been documenting it in the Porting section of
the Handbook (and later Porters' Handbook when that section was moved
there) since mid-1996.  I guess if that few people realize where
__FreeBSD_version's have been documented, a man page is the place for it.
