Subject: Can't start new Sylpheed without core dumps?

I've 'portupgrade'd every last port (214), they are all up to date
as of about 2 days ago. I've cleaned and re-portupgraded Sylpheed a
couple of times.

I cannot get Sylpheed to start - it just errors to /var/log/messages,
dumps core and quits. No command-line errors at all.

Jan 5 05:25:07 trittico kernel: pid 95149 (sylpheed), uid 1001:
exited on signal 11 (core dumped)
[1]+ Segmentation fault (core dumped) sylpheed

Has anyone succeeded lately in building Sylpheed from ports and then
running it?

Any hints, tips, etc., highly appreciated - archives & google have a
few references to Sylpheed and core dumps but nothing about a
successful solution.

I'm running -current, up to date within a couple of days.

BTW, Nautilus runs well, finally. That took a couple of make cleans
and builds but it finally compiled and ran.

Thanks!
Dave
