Alright, I ran xf86config, and successully set everything up.
I also followed the directions at the end and copied it to a place other
than /etc
I think I put it in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11 or just /usr/X11R6/lib (whichever
it suggested I did)
However I still get the same error when trying startx:

execve failed for /usr/X11R6/bin/X (errno 2)
_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 2
_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 2
_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 2
_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 2
_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 2
_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 2
giving up.

xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to X server

xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.

Here's the output of ls -Al /usr/X11R6/bin/X* :

lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel      24 Dec 19 01:49 /usr/X11R6/bin/X ->
/usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_SVGA
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 756928 Sep 28 08:21 /usr/X11R6/bin/XF86Setup
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 27499 Sep 28 08:17 /usr/X11R6/bin/Xmark
-rws--x--x 1 root wheel 5090 Sep 28 08:21 /usr/X11R6/bin/Xwrapper

I see no XVGA server files...if that's what I'm looking for...
How might I go about manually installing those? If that could be the
problem and sysinstall can't seem to do it itself?

Much thanks for your help so far Robert.

Loren

(Everyone else remember to send replies to my email also, thanks)
