Thanks for researching. I added my comment. (I cannot reproduce any of 
the other problem reports you mentioned.)

I did test with no plugins and no extensions after having tested with a 
clear profile before. No change.

Changes nothing.

I just found some other funny effect: http://www.pcbsd.org/ -- Moving 
the mouse over their "HOME" "ABOUT", "MIGRATE", etc. buttons and then 
scrolling the page makes elements from below appear in the background of 
these buttons with the text still on top. Can you see that or does the 
page seem "normal" for you?
