Yes it has and works fine.

I would rather have the qpopper leave a .user.pop file inside /var/mail as
it did before upgrading to qpopper2.53. That file was 0 bytes when after
people check their mail and was n bytes in the moment someone was
downloading mail. That file was useful to get when they last check their
mail. For example three months ago.
