Hey, hmm...I've got an IDE CDROM drive, but I can't seem to get it to work with -stable...The machine is a P100, with a PCI SCSI card, and two onboard IDE controllers, with only the cdrom on one. From bootup: FreeBSD 2.1-STABLE #0: Sat May 25 00:02:06 EDT 1996 danp@carebase4.jri.org:/usr/src/sys/compile/WHEATIES ...... wdc0 not found at 0x1f0 wdc1 not found at 0x170 ...... In my kernel config I have: controller wdc0 at isa? port "IO_WD1" bio irq 14 vector wdintr controller wdc1 at isa? port "IO_WD2" bio irq 15 vector wdintr options ATAPI #Enable ATAPI support for IDE bus device wcd0 Am I doing something wrong, or is my hardware or software misconfigured? Or is it a problem with the wcd driver? Thanks!
