Hello,

Last night I installed FreeBSD onto my computer. The installation seemed =
to go well until after the first boot. When prompted to login we entered =
the user name and then the password and got the prompt. We can't seem to =
"startx". I tried all the different commands and the reply is "bad or =
missing command". The only command I could get to work was the "add =
user". I went back to the packages and selected the ones to do with x =
systems. Still no go.
Motherboard =3D Soyo duel processor ( running 1 P3 1ghz processor)
2 Maxtor harddrives (master 60gb and slave 40gb)
3Comm ethernet card
all in wonder 32mb video card
256 RAM

What do I need to do to fix this?

marianne
