Hello FreeBSD-java people, I've noticed that the following code does not perform as expected under the FreeBSD implementation of java... It creates a directory and then immediately deletes it. This code works fine under Solaris, but under FreeBSD the directory is created, but not deleted. import java.io.*; public class TestDeleteDir { public static void main(String Argv[]) { File test = new File("foo"); test.mkdir(); test.delete(); } } I'm using jdk1.1.5.V98-2-25.tar.gz.
