As we all know, Asami-san has played a very important role in the FreeBSD Ports community in years past, and for this reason he is remaining a member of the team, but his current workload constraints do not allow him to dedicate time to the portmgr team. It is therefore in the best interests of the community that he be excused from voting so that portmgr can remain an agile decision-making body.
