The patches I posted some time back for the loader's netboot code 
eliminated its DHCP support for the simple reason that it was a grotty 
hack (and didn't work when I tried it).

I'd be interested to know if the patched code I posted works in your 
environment, but the answer to your question is that the loader's 
current DHCP support is broken, yes.
