Start at http://www.freebsd.org/. You'll find a lot of stuff there,
in particular "Release Information"
(http://www.freebsd.org/availability.html), which will lead you to
"supported configurations"
(http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/install.html#INSTALL-HW) and then to
"Supported Hardware"
(http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/install-hw.html). Alternatively, you
could start at the handbook to find the same information.

I suppose there's a case for a direct link from the home page. I'll
think about it.
