I asked this question in USENET but got no reply...

I encountered the following messages while installing FreeBSD 3.3.

wd0: wdcontrol: wdcommand
failed reading fsbn 0 (status b0 <busy,wrtflt,seekdone> error 0)
failed reading fsbn 0 (status b0 <busy,wrtflt,seekdone> error 0)
failed reading fsbn 0 (status b0 <busy,wrtflt,seekdone> error 0)
failed reading fsbn 0 (status b0 <busy,wrtflt,seekdone> error 0)
failed reading fsbn 0 (status b0 <busy,wrtflt,seekdone> error 0)
wd0: wdstart: wdcontrol returned nonzero, state = 1

then the installation just freezed eternally...

My IDE configuration is as follows:

IDE0 Master: IBM DMA66 9.1GHarddisk
IDE0 Slave: none
IDE1 Master: CD-ROM drive
IDE1 Slave: none

Can anyone tell me what's going wrong??
(Linux, Win98 and WinNT work fine)
