>Description:
pcvt driver has several deficits.

item #1 is NOT valid in 4.x (appears to have been fixed,
reported wrongly based on FBSD 3.x).

                1. cursor is always GRAY! <- WRONG.
this is a problem on gray backgrounds as well as
other backgrounds which make GRAY hard on the eyes.
it is logical for the cursor to be INVERSE (IMHO).

                2. ANSI sequences are severely X3.64 deficient,
                    most importantly, LEFT/RIGHT scrolling capabilities,
which, in color mode, can slow down display functions
by a factor of 100 (especially critical on serial lines).

>How-To-Repeat:
self-evident.

>Fix:
implement ANSI X3.64 LEFT/RIGHT scrolling capabilities.
