And yes, I have verified that my kernel supports parallel printers; and that /dev/lpt0 has been created. In fact, 'cat /etc/motd > /dev/lpt0' prints the motd... >How-To-Repeat: Make sure your kernel includes support for parallel printers and that you have a /dev/lpt0. Install the cups port. Start the CUPS daemon. Run '/usr/local/sbin/lpinfo -v'.
