If the builds use META_MODE then the builds
will avoid rebuilding much of what has not
changed via prior activity. You may need
to clean out $(OBJDIR}'s directory tree
before or after a build --or unmount and
then mount a new tmpfs instead.

The test may need to specify /etc/src.conf
content or other such context if
reproducibility of test conditions is a goal.

I also wonder what happens with the test
on a non-Ryzen system.


Separately. . .

I'm afraid the Ryzen that I use will not be
available for this kind of activity any time
soon. In fact I may lose access to it for a
time.

And I'm not set up for a native FreeBSD boot:
The context is Windows 10 running VirtualBox,
which in turn is running FreeBSD.
