Nothing like opening another 3.x --> 4.x can of worms just for one port. You could install /usr/ports/security/ssh /usr/ports/security/ssh2 /usr/ports/security/openssh It depends what you need to use and how you plan on accessing the system. -Chris -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Giorgos Keramidas Sent: Tuesday, March 21, 2000 10:54 AM To: dave Cc: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: Re: ssh. Recent versions of FreeBSD have OpenSSH integrated to the base system, you don't need to install a port for this. You might want to cvsup to a fairly up-to-date copy of the sources, and then read rebuild your base system ;) For instructions on updating your system from the sources of /usr/src, please take a look at /usr/src/UPDATING. - Giorgos Keramidas To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
