	Run /stand/sysinstall and (c) Configure -> (D) Distributions ->
(7) Custom -> pick XFree86 (and nothing else).
	It will take some time to D/L X Windows over the modem however.

	But to answer your question -- yes, you need X window to run
sunclock: sunclock-1.3   Shows which portion of the Earth's surface is 
illuminated by the Sun.
