I think you're reading it a little wierd ;-) If you don't have x11-fonts/dejavu installed when attempting to build openjdk6 then build will fail (that is referring to the openjdk6 build process). The error message is what I've included in the description section. If you install x11-fonts/dejavu & re-attempt, it will success ok. Confirmed on 9.0-current & 8.2-release Sevan / Venture37
