There are basically 3 "species" of mouse:

1.	The serial mouse, fits into a rs232 serial port.

2.	PS/2 mice, fits into a secondary (auxillary) port
	on the keyboard controller on the Motherboard, often
	one of those little round DIN like connectors now
	also often used for keyboards.

3. 	Bus mice, comes with their own (propietary) bus
	adapter (and plug).
