Hello, the last day i've installed gnome2, it result very very slow .. gedit, to example, open after 32seconds and put that error: [Shocker@P4 ~]$ gedit (gedit:50388): Gdk-WARNING **: shmget failed: error 28 (No space left on device) or .. (gedit:23354): Gdk-WARNING **: shmget failed: error 12 (Cannot allocate memory) All application on gnome make that error .. on fluxbox, the gnome application (gedit) open without error but very slowly .. after 20/30 seconds .. Totem to example: [08:08:26] Shocker : [Shocker@P4 ~]$ totem (totem:23353): Gdk-WARNING **: shmget failed: error 12 (Cannot allocate memory) The program 'totem' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadShmSeg (invalid shared segment parameter)'. (Details: serial 44 error_code 164 request_code 146 minor_code 2) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) [Shocker@P4 ~]$ What can I do ? .. Thanks a lot and sorry for my terrible english .. :) _________________________________________________________________ 250MB per la tua casella di posta http://www.msn.it/hotmail/minisite_10 Trova immediatamente qualsiasi tipo di file.
