OSF.  As in OSF/1?  Hum, why don't they just port their own stuff (and
give it away for free.  :-))  What is the deal with OSF?  Why would they
want to port a free OS?

NIH.  You know, it makes too much sence.  Why start with something
already [partically] working when you can do it *your* way from scratch.
