I compiled the kernel now w/o intpm (acpi wasn't enabled), and with
debugging options. I rebooted and forced once more a system freezup by
unplugging and replugging a network cable.
I wasn't able to enter the kernel debugger, because the keyboard went dead
too.
So... what is left?
