I am trying to do a multicast tunnel through a PPP link using mrouted on an SGI on one end and FreeBSD on the other. The problem is that mrouted in its infinite wisdom wont let me set up a tunnel to a machine that it thinks is on the same subnet. It tells me it in unnecassary and then bombs when it discovers that there are no more interfaces it can use. Is there any way to thwart this? Thanks. David Langford langfod@dihelix.com
