Uh? Are they different (besides at the computer bus interface
side)? If so, I have to admit I'm completely ignorant in this
respect. :( Just like renaming them to some "MicroLink" series
wouldn't be enough to confuse people ...

I don't have any of Elsa's cards. But it's what was constantly
recommended when I ran Linux (quite some years ago:) -- the
company was known to cooperate well with the I4L developers,
didn't change hardware every two weeks, and the cards Just
Worked(TM) and did so in a solid way. And yes, I understood that
the QS3000 was nothing more than a QS1000 plus the analog chip.
And that the "plus" bundle was of no additional value for UNIX
users since it only had Windows software nobody could make use
of. And in passing I noticed the non obvious and unnecessary
move to sell the same(!) hardware as some "MicroLink" thingy --
the name they've been selling modems under for the years before.

To return to the thread's topic: I had the impression (from
reading isdn related mailing lists) that you could choose any
QS1000 driver to drive a QS3000 card without expecting any
problems. It's just that the analog part of the card isn't
supported then. But shoveling data via ISDN (and maybe voice
AMs) is no problem at all.
