most of the GNU stuff in the year 2000 dates to 1993. isn't it about time to release FBSD with new GNU utilities? most all of them are 7 years behind the current GNU versions. why is this anyway? ie, sed, awk, bc, etc ... please reply off the list if there are any comments. thank you.
