I've come in late in this thread, but I want to add a couple of comments:

Chad:  THANKYOU very MUCH for your work.  Don't let all these grumpy old men
fool you, we love your stuff.

Alfred:  Don't panic so easily, the world wont go under because of a bikeshed.

O'Brien:  For somebody insisting that "Style matters!" your email communication
style leaves a lot to be desired: Relax.

Everybody:  While it may be true that Chad hasn't done a perfect
job, it is totally insane to beat him on the head with this fact
when most of us have not even tried to do our little part of the
same job.  One doesn't look a gift horse in the mouth, remember ?

When people submit stuff which is good material, but some minor stylistic
points are wrong, the correct response is not "burn him at the stake", the
correct response is "great job buddy, uhm, next time, could you try to ..."
